More Modern Warfare 2
Curious Teen Asks: So, I’m 13 and not allowed to play M rated games. To the most part this does not bother me, but, seeing how most of my friends are constantly over a network with each other, It makes talking about games at school a little akward. Let’s get down to the point. If MW2 left out the controversial airport level, would it still be a rated m game? I know its a difficult question so a rough guess would be alright.
CoDMW2 – A Difficult Question
Wasif asks: I’m 15 years old and my dad is making a huge deal about me playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He even took it away after just a couple of weeks of playing it. I honestly (and i’m not leaving out any details) do not understand why. … Now that it’s gone, I’ve asked my dad for it several times and he tells me that these games are addictive and nothing more than mindless killing. I know this is because my dad is a psychiatrist and he deals with people who have addictions to this everyday. He sees people who are addicted to this game and believes that I am one of them, when I certainly am not. Can someone please help me with my dilemma?
DS for 4 1/2?
Stephanie Asks – Do you have a recommended age for the DS lite? My Daughter is 4 1/2 and had the leapster but seems almost bored with it. I have heard the DS lite has many games that require reading… Are there enough games she could use to keep her attention?
PS3 for Family?
Ethan Writes: Hello! My family has a Wii, and “Wii” all enjoy it. But I
want a PS3, but my parents say no. I have tried to convince them with
things like showing that this system has games that would appeal to
All of us and I need some help. Do you think that the Playstation 3
is a good family console?
How much time?
Bob & Carol ask: What is an acceptable amount of time per day for a youth to play Call of Duty modern warfare per day or week. And regardless of Title what are the console/keyboard utilization limits per day/week?
Gears of War for 6!!!!?
WonderingMom Writes: Well I’m wondering your input/take on a 6yr old playing
Gears of War. Its a game that he has seen adults play, and there fore
recognizes advertisements, or on the store shelves. What is it rated?
And would it be an appropriate game for him to play? because it is
being requested by him.
Ask GamerDad – Grandpa Halo Concerns
-Trying to stay fair Grandpa writes: “My daughter who has recently seperated from her spouse has major concerns that her ex spouse is allowing their 6 yr. old boy play “Halo” when at Dad’s house. I am not a gamer and not at all
equipped to give an opinion. Please let me know your thoughts on allowing this child to play for extended amounts of time this game.”
Those Offensive Beatles!
SARAH G. ASKS: “Why is Beatles Rock Band rated T-Teen?” I’ve been thinking about this every time I pull out Beatles Rock Band for family or friends. I think about it every time my under 13 kids are exposed to it. The game has been rated T-Teen 13+ by our video game watch dog organization and I have to strongly disagree with it. Why? Because it’s absurd and why we should be concerned about it as enthusiasts, parents and fans of gaming.
Should I be allowed to play C.O.R.E.?
My dad will not let me play C.O.R.E. on my new DSi. I’m 11 years
old and i will be 12 next month. It only says Blood Gore and Language
my Dad says “No because it is rated “M”) But yet he bought me
inFAMOUS for my PS3 and that has Blood Gore Drugs Alchohol EXCESSIVE
swearing and more violence than you could imagine. I have played
games like starcraft which are just as bad if not worse. I also am
allowed to watch any PG-13 movies. Do you think i should be allowed to play C.O.R.E?
Thrill Kill

Message: Have you ever heard of a game called Thrill Kill? I’ve heard
it’s extremely violent and gorey, in fact it was so bad it was rated
AO and then banned, and then censored, and then put on the internet. -Llama
