I honestly think you can play it, It's violence is low, and your ability to spot the blood is your ability to discern blood colored sand to blood (i have to look REALLY close to notice it) But yeah....every now and then (say every 45-2hours-ish? for me anyways) only real time i noticed language was when you're picking up some badasses(guerillas) to go to a raid. Probably hundreds of bad words spoken but you have to be near the colonists or bad guys to hear them. That happens fairly infrequently. In fact, I had to listen for it (but then I'm rarely offended by this sort of thing). If mom doesn't want to hear the word: "Motherf*cker" then you'd best steer clear. In the game?
