Hehe ... that is the thing with these. I could do one and PC folks might say 'what about Sins of a Solar Empire' ... you just have to go with what you know.

I'd put in a vote of Boom Blox somewhere... not sure what category. Not that great solo play but so awesome as a pick-up-and-play game for casual gamers... It's been getting a lot of play in my youth group when I bring it by...

I assume he left it out because he hasn't played it.

My favorite game so far this year is Super Mario Galaxy--I know it came out last year; but, I only got it this year. It's a blast. I also liked Super Smash Bros. Brawl; but, it just isn't a Wii title, Originally slated for the 'Cube, they didn't even have the decency to take out the 'Cube-centric control scheme. Any game on the Wii that requires you to move a little cursor around with the control stick automatically gets a 2-point deduction. In the end, it's a mild update of Melee and I would have been perfectly happy to play Melee for another year while they turned Brawl into a real Wii game.

I really liked LEGO Indy, and haven't had any problems with bugs. The game has crashed a few times; but, I play it on the PC and I expect that on PC games. The biggest drawback to the LEGO games, for me, is the inability to skip cut scenes.

How could you leave No More Heroes out?
It is probably the best Wii game of the year.
